Most of our customers call or text to schedule an appointment, but walk-ins are more than welcome too. We are one of the few shops that offer premium products at a fair price. Not only are our products backed nationally, we believe in them so much we put them on our own personal vehicles.

It takes 2 hours to tint all the sides and back glass on a standard 4 door car. In order to not rush the quality of install, we encourage our customers to drop their vehicles off. However, we enjoy building new relationships and don’t mind you spending time with us at the shop while you wait on your vehicle. There is a comfortable waiting room available, if needed.

Who is Jason, owner of Sun Stoppers Wilmington?

Jason was born in upstate New York but has lived in Charlotte, NC the majority of his life. His family owns race cars, so Jason has been around them his entire life. Jason’s first Nascar race was in 1989, and it was then that he decided he wanted to work on cars. In 1994, Jason moved to Charlotte, NC to pursue his dream. He worked in Nascar for over 25 years and was part of Tony Stewart’s winning team in 2011. Wanting to spend more time with his family, Jason decided that chapter of his life was over. He now owns his very own Sun Stoppers right here in Wilmington, NC.
