Protecting yourself from harmful UV rays can literally be a lifesaver. After all, skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States and is most often caused by repeated and unprotected skin exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays.
That why it’s important to consider tinting your entire Corvette, including the windshield, with a clear film to maximize the heat rejection capability of XPEL’s ceramic films XR and XR Plus. We can tint the windshield with a clear film that actually helps reduce glare at night. The difference between XR and XR Plus is the amount of infrared heat each film blocks, 88% and 98%. Both films protect you, your family and your friends from harmful UV rays with a rating of SPF 1,000.
You’re pretty exposed in a car without window tint.
It’s like leaving the house lights on with the blinds open. Anyone can see you or your passengers and make unwanted eye contact.
And in a parking lot, someone walking past can easily see your belongings at a glance.
Protect yourself and what’s in your car from prying eyes with XPEL true-black window tint from Sun Stoppers.

XPEL PRIME Window Tint gives you all of the heat and UV protection benefits of window tint, but without the super dark look that can make it hard to see out of the car—or get you a ticket in some locations.

Enjoy peace of mind that your paint is protected from fading caused by harmful UV rays and never having to scrub brake dust off your wheels ever again!
Are you worried about…
No! We’re happy to tint the windows on any model of Corvette you bring to us!
Yes! Thankfully, Corvette windows are fairly normal sized and can easily be covered with one piece of window tint. This boosts the longevity of your window tint since there are fewer seams where damage can happen.
Not really. We use the same high-grade XPEL window tints that we do on other vehicles and use the same professional installation techniques as well.
Standard window tint films usually last around 5 years. At Sun Stoppers we use XPEL window tint (XPEL only authorizes a few trusted dealers around the nation with installation to install their premium product) that lasts at least 10 years, and often longer if properly maintained.
No, don’t put your windows up or down after a fresh window tint job. Rolling your windows down too soon can harm the window tint. We recommend waiting 4 days minimum before adjusting your windows. If you want to be extra safe, wait a week before your putting your windows down.
It’s likely not a major problem. Bubbles in the window tints are normal for a few hours after installation. However, if there are excessive bubbles, or if the bubbles remain after a week or two, the window tint was not installed properly.
We offer the XPEL Prime XR (88% blockage of infrared heat) and the XPEL Prime XR Plus (98% blockage of infrared heat). Both window films protect you from harmful UV rays with a rating of SPF 1,000.
