Yes, definitely! While that cool breeze from a rolled-down window can be refreshing, it’s not worth ruining a recently finished window tint job. We recommend waiting at least 4 days before putting your windows up and down, and waiting up to 7 days isn’t a bad idea if you want to play it safe.

I see bubbles in my Rivian window tint. Is that normal?

Bubbles in your window tint can be concerning depending on the situation you are in. It is normal to see bubbles in the window tint for several hours immediately following installation. However, if you still notice the bubbles after a week or two, the tint was not installed properly and will need to be replaced.

Do I need different types of window film for the R1T and R1S?

No, you can choose from any of the window films we offer for both models. Since the models have different sizes of windows, the price may vary between the two, but installation remains the same.

What are your options for window films for a Rivian?

There are two main considerations when cleaning tinted windows:

1. 1. Use an ammonia-free cleaner. Two good options are Invisible Glass and Meguiar’s Glass Cleaner.

Other than that, you’re good to go! Just remember to wait 4-7 days before cleaning the windows on your Rivian after a fresh tint job.
